My buddy Josh asked me if I knew where one could get their hands on an all white leather wallet, simple, bifold, no hassle, just fresh and clean. So I looked up a few brands and have posted them for him and you all here. Usually the white wallets (on the lower end of the price range) will be from skate, surf, extreme sports, brands, but I looked up some higher end brands as well for everyone. I’ve been eying lots of checkbooks/secretary style wallets for a while, and choosing THE perfect one was what held me back from purchasing one immediately, it seemed the longer and more in-depth my search became the better and better the checkbooks I found where. Strolling around Universal City Walk with my lady I spotted a Fossil store and remembered some of the sick checkbook/secretary wallets they where making on their website and decided a stop in the store was a must. We checked out the wallets they had for seriously about 30 minutes I kinda felt bad, but I was lusting over all the sick wallets they had and when I spotted the checkbooks she asked “you want it?” With a smile on her face. I couldn’t say “No”!? She bought it for me on the spot and I now carry with me THE perfect checkbook, not only perfect for its utility and style, but for the memory I carry along with it and the love I have for the person who gave it to me. The title and picture say it all. Pockets for two SIM cards and a pocket for a Passport. How does one become THIS international? Maybe one day I’ll find out.
I have found THE check book for me and leave it up to Nixon to make it. I am rockin their Showoff Bifold Wallet now and always go back to that after making a switch to another one. I love that thing. Thanks Nixon for your sick shit.
Fossil has been coming out with some pretty sick wallets, I stopped by Nordstrom the other day and picked one up myself. It’s one of their front pocket wallets and I was quite impressed with the wallet and the price tag as well. I ended up liking it more and more as I continued using it, it’s ultra slim yet holds 5 cards, has a slot for cash, and a magnetic clip. My company Monument is in the process of developing a wallet. We’re definitely excited about this! It’s a slim bi fold, two card slot wallet meant to carry only the essentials when you’re riding and don’t need that bulky trifold. It’s in the prototype stages still, but will be available soon and will definitely have a hand made look and feel to it, every single one will vary slightly in stitching etc, but yours will be unique. I went to the mall earlier today to do some “field research” and oh boy was I disappointed. The wallets all looked the same, boring. None of them where screaming “take me home!” “wear me!” I guess it’s who they market to, an older generation of men who live life the safe way, only buying big brands because everyone else does and it allows them to fit in and look the status quo, Take a risk man, AT LEAST in your wallet!
First off it’s Monday, and as all Monday’s go (sluggish) I decided to throw together a post for a couple of coworkers of mine. You know, keep it simple. They told me they needed wallets (one for her husband) so I went on the search! My boss told me he was needing a simple wallet that held an I.D. card and had a money clip to hold some cash on the other side for a vacation he was taking, “das it”. We’ll check it out I got you dawg. Walletbe makes one (as do tons of other brands, but this one is reasonably priced) go check it out.
As for my other coworker who was looking for a wallet for her husband, a construction worker needing a wallet that zips shut as to not ruin family photos etc. with dirt and dust, I told her I knew of the perfect one. Here you go.
